Registered Nurse(RGN/RMN)
One of our Clients in Swindon is looking for a Registered Nurse for their purpose-built Nursing Home in Chippenham SN15. The home is rated “Good” in CQC and is a purpose-built 40-bed nursing home.
The Care Home has two buildings on a large site with a field to the south providing expansive views over the vale of Dauntsey. The original historic building has benefited from the addition of a state of the art nursing facility.
Job Details as Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN):
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Chippenham SN15
Salary: £18 – £21.50 per hour
Schedule: Days – 12 hour shift
Shift Pattern
Long Days: 8.00 a.m. – 8.00 p.m.
Nights: 8.00 p.m. – 8.00 a.m.
Week 1: 3 days Monday to Friday – no weekend
Week 2: 4 days: Monday to Sunday
Job Description:
- Develops friendly and respectful relationships with Residents
- Enables Resident’s to maintain their well-being by planning and ensuring the implementation of care according to their choices or best interests
- Leads by example of excellent attitude and care practices
- Manages the care of allocated Residents
- Manage the performance of allocated Named Carers and Care Assistants
Required Skills, Abilities and Experience:
We are looking for experience in some or all of the following areas:
Qualifications
- RN1
- RN3
- RN1/RN3 (dually registered)
Work Experience
Although we are looking for nurses with post-registration experience, we welcome newly registered nurses and support them in fulfilling this role.
- Ideally at least 1 year post registration experience
- Elderly care
- Dementia care would be an advantage
- Taking charge of a shift
